After averaging 20.5 points per game on 59 percent shooting in her first four games of the season, Ogwumike’s efficiency has slipped. She has made less than 40 percent of her attempts in three of the last five appearances, including Saturday’s victory over the Mercury. That said, Ogwumike provided fantasy managers with solid rebound and assist production, and field goal percentage is not a scoring category in points leagues. She’ll look to clean up the field goal percentage when the Storm host the Lynx on June 11.

Diggins got off to a slow start while Gabby Williams was hot during the first half of Saturday’s contest. The veteran guard made just one of her eight shot attempts before halftime, but the Storm still took a three-point lead into the break. Diggins got going in the second half, and her explosion was the primary reason why Seattle pulled away for the 89-77 victory. She scored 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting, and the veteran guard also finished with solid numbers in the assists, steals and three-point categories. Diggins was responsible for three turnovers, but that’s an improvement after she recorded 11 in Seattle’s prior two games.

Williams had it rolling in the first half Saturday night. Shooting 7-of-9 from the field, she recorded 18 points, five assists and four three-pointers before halftime. Williams was not as productive in the second half, but the Storm still took home the win as Skylar Diggins took over. Williams has reached double figures in eight straight games, scoring 20 or more on three occasions, with Saturday’s total being a season-high. Given her versatility, the Storm forward is an excellent player to have rostered in fantasy leagues.

Used in a reserve role in seven of Seattle’s first eight games, Wheeler moved into the starting lineup Saturday night. With veteran Alysha Clark mired in a shooting slump, the hope was that Wheeler could continue to provide offense in an expanded role. Having reached double figures in four of her previous five appearances, Wheeler finished one point shy on Saturday but shot 50 percent from the field and contributed on the boards. She offers a higher upside than Clark, who shot 1-of-3 from the field and finished with three points and one three-pointer in 16 minutes. Given Seattle’s need for consistent perimeter scoring, it would make sense for Wheeler to retain the starting role.

After logging just over 14 minutes per game with the Sparks in 2024, Li has played even less in her first season in Seattle. The 6-foot-7 center is averaging 9.1 minutes in eight appearances, most recently playing six minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Wings. Interestingly, the draft pick sent to Seattle along with Li as part of the six-team deal headlined by Jewell Loyd and Kelsey Plum would be used to select Dominique Malonga in April’s draft. Unfortunately for the third-year WNBA veteran from China, there does not appear to be a clear path to additional playing time in Seattle, especially with Malonga, Nneka Ogwumike and Ezi Magbegor also in the frontcourt rotation.

After scoring eight points against the Aces, Wheeler made her way back to double figures on Tuesday against the Wings. However, the double-digit points total was hardly the only area where the veteran guard impressed. Wheeler dished out a team-high in assists, tied a season-high in rebounds, and continues to put together well-rounded performances regardless of whether she starts or not. The sample size of games has grown big enough that fantasy managers can realistically expect this level of production from Wheeler on a nightly basis.

Seattle ended its three-game losing streak on Tuesday despite a low-scoring, high-turnover performance from its star point guard. The limited scoring output was rare for the veteran guard in her 11th WNBA season, with her total against the Wings marking the end of her 22-game streak of scoring in double figures. Another noteworthy stat was Diggins’ five turnovers, as she’s now accumulated 11 turnovers and 10 assists over the past two games. Nevertheless, the low production came in a victory, and the Storm will look to string together back-to-back wins when they face Phoenix on Saturday.

Ogwumike scored in double figures on Tuesday after failing to do so for the first time all season when the Storm fell to the Aces on Sunday. She shot efficiently against Dallas, knocking down her two three-point attempts while being perfect at the line. Ogwumike’s near-double-double was good for fantasy managers to see, and obviously had value in the Storm getting back in the win column. She’ll look to put together another strong performance on Saturday against Phoenix.

Williams was effective on offense Tuesday, finishing with a team-high in points to snap the Storm’s losing streak. The veteran forward, once again, made an impact on the defensive end by accumulating multiple steals for the sixth time this season, while knocking down another three-pointer in what’s been a career-best season from beyond the arc. Williams had never averaged even one made three-pointer per game in any of her six previous seasons in the WNBA. Now, she’s converting on better than two triples per game, having made multiple in all but two contests this year. She is averaging a career-high in points, steals and three-pointers per game and is off to a tremendous start in fantasy leagues.

Despite Malonga being viewed by some as the player with the highest upside in the 2025 draft class, the Storm have been intentional about not forcing the issue with her. However, after scoring two points in each of her first three appearances, the rookie forward continues to make strides. On Sunday, Malonga matched her season-high in points while playing 13 minutes, playing the entire fourth quarter while starter Ezi Magbegor (7/9/2/0/1) remained on the bench. Seattle was unable to complete its rally, but the rookie was a solid contributor down the stretch. Malonga may not be much of a fantasy asset in the short term, but she remains a highly valuable player to have rostered in dynasty leagues.
