Brewers RHP prospect Jacob Misiorowski posted seven strikeouts over five shutout innings on Saturday for Triple-A Nashville.
Misiorowski touched triple-digits on 14 pitches and allowed just two hits over five strong frames in his latest dominant outing on the doorstep of the majors. Milwaukee doesn’t exactly have a spot for him in their current rotation, but they should strongly consider making one in a couple weeks. The hard-throwing 23-year-old righty is up to 80 punchouts over 63 1/3 innings and also boasts an International League-best 2.13 ERA across 12 starts.

Orioles’ outfield prospect Dylan Beavers was removed from Friday’s game at Triple-A Norfolk due to a left shoulder injury.
Beavers sustained the injury when he collided with a teammate while going for a ball in the outfield. It’s not the same shoulder that Beavers injured earlier in the season. The severity of the injury — as well as any time he may miss — are not yet known.
What's next for demoted Red Sox prospect Campbell?
A tough couple months prompted a demotion for Red Sox prospect Kristian Campbell, but James Schiano remains confident he'll find his way in Boston -- and for fantasy managers.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #59
Sean Manaea looked sharp in his minor league rehab start at Triple-A Syracuse on Friday night, racking up seven strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings of one-run baseball.
The 33-year-old southpaw scattered two hits on the night and didn’t walk a batter. Manaea got stretched out to 62 pitches in this one, throwing 45 of those for strikes. He may only require one additional rehab start before he’s ready to rejoin an injury-riddled Mets’ rotation.
  • SD Relief Pitcher #75
Robert Suarez plans to appeal the three-game suspension that he received from Major League Baseball for throwing at Shohei Ohtani on Thursday evening.
Padres’ skipper Mike Shildt told reporters on Friday that he’s optimistic that Suarez’s suspension can be reduced through appeal and that his right-hander did not intentionally throw at the Dodgers’ superstar. We should have more clarity on his situation within the next day or so.
  • SD Center Fielder #3
Jackson Merrill (concussion) was able to go through his regular pregame routine without any issues on Friday.
Padres’ skipper Mike Shildt noted that Merrill’s headaches are gone and that he has had more mental clarity in the past few days. He’s still being evaluated by the team’s medical staff, but it sounds like the 22-year-old outfielder is progressing toward a return to the Padres’ lineup.
  • SD Right Fielder #23
Fernando Tatis Jr. (hand) returned to the Padres’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Royals.
There had been some thought that the 26-year-old superstar would need to miss some time after getting hit in the hand by a pitch on Thursday night, but all checked out fine and he’s ready to play through the pain and return to action. On the season, he’s slashing a healthy .270/.354/.457 with 13 homers, 31 RBI and 15 stolen bases through his first 72 ballgames.
  • SF 2nd Baseman #0
Giants recalled INF Brett Wisely from Triple-A Sacramento.
The 26-year-old infielder will add some depth to the Giants’ bench over the weekend while Justin Verlander is away on paternity leave. Wisely is hitless in 10 at-bats with the Giants this season, though he does have a pair of RBI.
  • SF Starting Pitcher #35
Giants placed RHP Justin Verlander on the paternity list.
The 42-year-old hurler will be away from the team for the weekend as he welcomes a new addition to his growing family. He should be back in time to make his next scheduled start. Brett Wisely was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move on Friday.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #31
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Friday that Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) will make his next start at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Glasnow is expected to work two innings in his first minor league rehab start there. Roberts also noted that the right-hander is going to need at least three minor league rehab starts before becoming an option to rejoin the Dodgers’ starting rotation. If all goes according to plan, he could be ready to return following the All-Star break.
  • BAL Catcher #35
Adley Rutschman was a late scratch from the Orioles’ starting lineup on Friday night due to abdominal tightness.
Jackson Holliday, who was slated to get the night off against a left-hander, was inserted into the O’s lineup and into the leadoff spot to replace Rutschman. It doesn’t sound like it’s something they’re overly concerned about, but fantasy managers should be sure to monitor his status through the weekend.
  • LAD 1st Baseman #5
Freddie Freeman is not in the Dodgers’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Nationals.
It appears to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the 35-year-old slugger, though Freeman has been playing through a minor quad injury. Max Muncy is also taking a seat with tough southpaw MacKenzie Gore on the hill for the Nationals. Enrique Hernandez will cover first base for Freeman while Miguel Rojas will start at the hot corner and bat ninth for the Dodgers.
